Starting to edit the film

Today, we kicked off our editing session, but before diving in, we thought it wise to strategize our approach. We decided to research different editing software options to optimize our workflow. Despite my prior experience with editing programs, I felt exploring new software might enhance our video quality. I delved into popular options like Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, and Wondershare Filmora, only to find many were beyond our budget. However, some free programs showcased promising features for improving our video. Among them, CapCut stood out as a familiar choice, as my groupmates and I had prior experience with it. Once we settled on CapCut as our primary editing tool, we geared up to start editing the video promptly. I requested the footage from our groupmate responsible for recording. Upon receiving it, I initiated the process of assembling the videos within CapCut. Prior to diving in, I ensured to create a shared project within the app and shared it with all group members for seamless collaboration. Organizing the recordings in chronological order was our first step, allowing us to spot potential mistakes and areas for improvement early on. However, due to the lateness of the hour, we decided to adjourn our editing session for another day. Catch you later, Blog!
