Hey there blog, I'm back again to share our latest filming adventures! Today marked the continuation of our film project, as we delved into shooting the second scene. Fortunately, the location for this scene aligned with our previous one, making it easy for everyone to arrive promptly. However, since this scene didn't involve all members from last time, one actor wasn't needed, simplifying our setup. With fewer actors involved this time, the rest of us could focus on operating the camera, ensuring we captured the scene perfectly. This division of labor allowed those of us in front of the camera to concentrate solely on our acting performances. Just like last time, we stuck to our tried-and-tested method of rehearsing the scene multiple times before committing to a final take. We learned from past experience that this approach yielded much better results. Fixing up the film

 Hello blog, I'm back! Today, our group resumed the video editing process, and we collectively agreed to divide the workload among ourselves to streamline the process. We opted for a shift-like system, akin to a job, to enhance efficiency and communication within the group. Initially, one of my groupmates took the first shift, tackling specific segments of the video. I then took over for the second shift, delving into the editing process myself. Upon starting, I noticed that my groupmate had already trimmed unnecessary parts of the video, yet it still exceeded the time limit. This prompted me to consider further cutting and shortening clips to meet the requirements. However, I underestimated the difficulty of this task, particularly in maintaining video quality while reducing length. I focused on trimming the beginnings and ends of clips initially but found it insufficient to meet the time constraint. Genre Research : Horror

  One Genre we thought of was Horror! Common camera angles used in horror videos/movies would be high-angles often used to make characters appear vulnerable, low-angle to make characters look more dominant (often the bad one), Dutch angles are also used to create a sense of imbalance and close-ups are used to show fear on someone’s eyes or show a curvature smile. Common mis-en-scene in horror films are a dark setting in a rural location away from everyone, props often used are weapons such as knives, axes and chainsaws that would create a painful death,  Black, red, grey and brown would all be colours considered for a horror film as they all signify danger and tragedy, m ost people (mainly victims) in horror films look like the are dressed casually but a lot of effort is put into their outfits to show hints of their role and personality in the movie,  t he  weaker characters in the frame are the ones who are opposite the camera on the floor showing how positioning af...
